More About Dwight

Dwight's passion for serving Christ and his involvement in athletics has resulted in his being a lifetime trustee of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has been involved in many international mission trips emphasizing both sports and business relationships. He loves to share with groups of all sizes who would like to know more about how they can participate in being ambassadors for Christ using the language of sports as a common bond to share the gospel with others.

His trips have included most recently...

• Kenya, for basketball
• El Salvador for working at an orphanage
• Morocco for improving communication with Muslims and Christians
• Cape Town, South Africa, for sharing the gospel thru basketball.

His local church is Lifepoint Church (www.lifepoint.tv) in Tampa, FL formally a member of Cuyahoga Valley Church in Broadview Hts., Ohio.

Dwight is married to Marlene (Klee) since June, of 1966, and daughter Jodi lives with her husband Matt Fogelson in Oakland, California along with grandson, Jed. Their son Blair lives in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife Joy (Robertson) and their three sons, Spencer, Aidan, and Ty. Dwight grew up in Delta, Ohio, (near Toledo); attended Bowling Green State University as a math major in education; graduated from the Weatherhead School of Case Western Reserve University with an MBA in 1970, emphasizing Banking and Finance. After teaching and coaching for four years, he joined Merrill Lynch in 1971, working as a Financial Advisor and from 1980 to 1985, serving as an office manager for the west side office of Merrill Lynch.
